An endearing house, one filled with old Bangkok charm and history, became the home to our first toddler centre in 1997. Named after the ‘purple elephant’ created by one of our students, Per Jonsson, from Sweden, in the eighties, this school evokes an atmosphere of both comfort and learning. Our toddlers, aged 18 months to 3 years, spend time in a playground and environment built especially for this aged group. From here, children have a comfortable transition to our Soi 49 campus and the teachers make recommendations for placement in The Early Learning Centre, ensuing children are able to stay with special friends. In August, the staff from The Purple Elephant comes to The Early Learning Centre to welcome the children back into our family of schools.
